Overview
Single project professional indemnity
What is it?
Single Project Professional Indemnity insurance can be provided from the first provision of professional services, into the construction phase and through to 'practical completion', with extended claims reporting of up to 12 years thereafter. The policy protects against negligence inherent in any professional activities and duties performed by an Insured.

Coverage is frequently non-voidable, providing long-term certainty to the Insured of cost and all policy terms and conditions. The indemnity provided by insurers can be extended to include tiers of sub-contractors and sub-consultants as well as employers and other stakeholders in a project.
Who should consider buying this insurance?
Any procurers of construction services, including private companies and government organisations, which are looking to secure additional insurance protection and/or offer insurance protection to their service providers should be considering Project Professional Indemnity.

The cover is also an option for construction service providers that do not have the appetite to purchase practice insurance or want to ring-fence their liability in respect of specific project, away from their practice insurance coverage.
How do we add value?
We have identified a panel of insurers with an appetite for this specific cover and the ability to meet the long-period coverage requirements.

We do not rely on insurers to design the policy coverage they provide with standard wordings. We ensure we understand each project's requirements and bespoke cover to suit, mindful of what we know the insurance market
will sustain.

We have a number of core initiatives which provide tangible value to our clients' risk management process including:
